Colton Bane is the Immigrant Justice Program Director with the Community Legal Center’s Immigrant Justice Program. He received his undergraduate degree with a major in political science and a minor in history from the University of Memphis. He also attended the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2020.
Colton first began his journey into immigration law practice as a volunteer with the CLC during the spring break of his first year in law school. He then interned with the CLC during the summer between his first and second year of law school. By the end of law school, he completed over 300 hours of pro bono immigration work. In law school, Colton also clerked for the Memphis Immigration Court.
