Change Lives. Give Justice.

We at the Community Legal Center believe that everyone deserves justice, regardless of their ability to pay. With your help, we have done just that for 25 years.

Help us continue to help others. No gift is too small.

We will use this donation to continue to represent vulnerable persons in our community.

Civil Program

Our Civil Program provides access to civil legal counsel for Shelby County residents. We charge sliding scale fees based on household.

Immigrant Justice Program

The IJP offers a variety of legal services to low-income immigrants who live within the jurisdiction of the Memphis Immigration Court (TN, AR, and northern MS).

Our mission is to provide civil legal services to those with limited means and those at risk.

This comes from our conviction that regardless of ones’ circumstances in life, each person deserves the opportunity to seek justice. Only when other basic needs have been met do most people have sufficient income to pay for a private lawyer.
