Melissa Hamilton is the Community Legal Center’s Elder Law Attorney. She received her law degree from The University of Missouri School of Law in Columbia, MO, and her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. Melissa comes to the CLC with vast experience in nonprofit work.
Melissa spent much of her time conducting research and fundraising for organizations like Urban Strategies, Inc. and the Women’s Foundation before she began practicing the law. Her legal background includes stints at Memphis Area Legal Services and the Juvenile Court system, where she developed her passion for providing legal services for the community.
