Yina E. Garcia was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and raised in Memphis, TN. In 1998, Yina moved to Memphis with her family. Prior to joining the Community Legal Center, Yina worked for an immigration attorney for 5 years where she oversaw the law firm’s Waiver Department which included I-601a, I-601, and 212s.
Yina has always had an interest in Immigration law and her passion for giving back to the immigrant community is what led her to the Community Legal Center.
